Venice Film Festival This year, the Organizing Team has Appointed Julianne Moore as judge

The 79th Venice Film Festival will take place from August 31 to September 10, 2022. It is known that the Venice Film Festival is one of the most prestigious and exclusive film festival programs in the world. The Venice film festival usually takes place annually in late August or early September.

Award categories at the Venice film festival include the Golden Lion, Silver Lion, Lion of the Future, Jaeger-LeCoultre Glory for The Filmmaker Award. Of course, this very prestigious award is widely coveted by filmmakers, actresses and actors.

For this year’s Venice film festival, the organizing team has appointed Julianne Moore as judge.

Not only that, the Oscar-winning actress will also lead other judges at the main competition at the Venice film festival. Moore will be accompanied by an international jury of renowned directors and screenwriters whose films have also received awards.

There was a French director, Audrey Diwan last year won the Golden Lion award for his film entitled “Happening”.

In addition, there is Iranian actress Leila Hatami, Italian writer and director Leonardo Di Costanzo and Nobel Prize winner Kazuo Ishiguro.

It was previously known that Julianne Moore had won the Best Actress Oscar for her role as a professor with Alzheimer’s disease in the film “Still Alice” directed by Richard Glatzer and Wash Westmoreland.

The actress also won the Screen Actors Guild award for Outstanding Actress in a Leading Role for the film “Still Alice”.

Another achievement, Moore has won an Emmy award in 2012 for her role as politician Sarah Palin in the television film “Game Change”.
