This will also be the last for Bryce Dallas Howard ‘Jurassic World Dominion’ co-stars Chris Pratt and Bryce Dallas Howard say that this third film will be the end of their journey in the franchise.
Owen Grady actor in the film, Chris Pratt, said that ending his journey in this third film would be something great for him.
“I think this [is the end] for me,” Pratt told Total Film.
“This is the perfect ending to this franchise. As long as there is an opportunity for a brand to exist, there will probably be a lot of [interesting things happening].”
“But regarding my involvement? For me, it will be a great ending.”
Pratt’s co-star, Bryce Dallas Howard, made similar statements regarding her future as Claire Dearing.
“I don’t know what might [happen] from here. But, this is the end of the road for my character,” explained Howard.
“And for most of the cast in this film, the characters’ stories have come to an end, which is interesting and emotional and powerful and important.”
Production for the film in the dinosaur franchise began in early 2020 and was originally set for a June 2021 release. However, it has been heavily delayed due to the coronavirus pandemic.
This third installment in the Trevorrow trilogy will feature some familiar faces, with Laura Dern, Sam Neill and Jeff Goldblum reprising their roles as their characters in the 1993 original.
“They have the same screen time as Chris and Bryce,” Treverrow told Entertainment Weekly (12/15/21) about the trio. “They are the main characters from start to finish.”
Besides Pratt and Howard, there is the star of ‘X-Men: Days of Future Past’, Omar Sy, who returned from the film ‘Jurassic World’. Sy plays Barry in the film.
The cast also includes DeWanda Wise, Mamoudou Athie, Campbell Scott, Scott Haze, and Dichen Lachman.
Jurassic World Dominion is an upcoming American sci-fi adventure film directed by Colin Trevorrow, who wrote the screenplay with Emily Carmichael, based on a story by Trevorrow and his co-writer, Derek Connolly. It is the sequel to Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom (2018), the sixth installment in the Jurassic Park franchise, and the third in the “Jurassic World” trilogy. Like their predecessors, Frank Marshall and Patrick Crowley will produce the film, with Trevorrow and Jurassic Park (1993) director Steven Spielberg serving as executive producers. The film stars an ensemble cast including Chris Pratt, Bryce Dallas Howard, Laura Dern, Sam Neill, Jeff Goldblum, Daniella Pineda, Isabella Sermon, Justice Smith, Omar Sy, and B. D. Wong reprising their roles from previous films in the franchise, and they join forces. with Mamoudou Athie, Scott Haze, Dichen Lachman, Campbell Scott, and DeWanda Wish.
The film is slated for early 2014, as part of a future “Jurassic World” trilogy. Filming began in Canada in February 2020 and moved to another location in the UK the following month. In March 2020, production was postponed as a safety precaution due to the COVID-19 pandemic. Production resumed in July 2020, and ended four months later in November, with filming locations spanning England’s Pinewood Studios and the country of Malta.
Jurassic World Dominion is slated for a theatrical release on June 10, 2022 in IMAX, RealD 3D, and Dolby Cinema by Universal Pictures. Unlike its two predecessors, Legendary Entertainment News was not involved in its production, as Universal severed ties with the company in 2019 following the expiration of their four-year contract.
