Obviously followed by Spider-Man: No Way Home with a collection of € 878,238 in the weekend alone and which brings the latest Marvel endeavor to a total of € 20,257,684 : a remarkable result, especially when we consider the period of history we are in , which made Sony films Marvel remains at the top of the most watched movies of the season.

The third film starring a pair of youtubers confirms that their formula works well – in terms of success – in theaters: in the first two days of programming, the total proceeds came to €865,080.
The new chapter of the Matrix saga takes home €775,102 , a collection that isn’t exciting for film status but one that is in line with the results that Matrix Resurrections has created globally.
The remaining data don’t say anything new compared to the previous weeks, but it’s worth noting how the House of Gucci and Diabolik were able to withstand the impact of the new releases while still keeping their daily collections over the weekend above 100k euros.
Instead of moving toward the international box office, the plot is the same as in previous weeks and always recites the same monologue: Spider-Man: No Way Home.
Collecting $52.7 million in the first weekend of 2022, the third installment of the Spider-Man trilogy starring Tom Holland reached $609,892,000 in receipts in the United States alone and $1,368,892,000 globally.
This extraordinary success brought Spider-Man: No Way Home to the top ten highest-grossing films ever in the United States (excluding inflation), removing The Incredibles 2 from tenth place.
Picking up in the crumbs were Sing 2 and The King’s Man, which collected $19,600,215 and $4.5 million over the weekend, respectively, taking them to second and third place in the 2022 box office rankings.
Matrix Resurrection in the United States proved a flop, losing 68.1% from the previous week with a cash-out of just $3,825,000 during the first days of 2022.

Looking at its release in the next few weeks, it seems that Spider-Man: No Way Home is destined to remain at the top of the box office charts, awaiting the arrival of Morbius on January 28.
