Korean girl group BLACKPINK is preparing to make a comeback in the near future. YG Entertainment as the agency revealed that Jennie, Jiso, Rose, and Lisa were filming the latest MV for a comeback in August 2022.
Reported by Naver, based on a statement released by YG Entertainment, they issued a large budget for BLACKPINK’s comeback video clip this time.
They revealed that the budget issued was the highest budget that YG Entertainment had ever spent for filming a video clip.
“The BLACKPINK members are currently filming their comeback music video. The highest production cost the company has ever incurred. The whole process went smoothly because it was carefully prepared under a well-thought-out plan,” YG Entertainment said, Tuesday (26/7/2022).
The agency did not reveal the exact amount of the budget issued. However, the news made BLINKs, as BLACKPINK fans call it, impatient to welcome BLACKPINK’s long-awaited comeback.
In early July 2022, YG Entertainment confirmed BLACKPINK’s comeback plans. Not only that, the agency also announced plans for a world tour of the group consisting of Jisoo, Jennie, Rose, and Lisa.
This will be BLACKPINK’s first comeback in two years. They last released an album in 2020 through The Album.
BLACKPINK debuted under YG Entertainment in 2016 with the release of the single album Square One.
