Avengers is of course the most anticipated film to appear in the MCU. Since 2012, the Avengers films have always shown the gathering of superheroes trying to protect the world. So far, we have seen 4 Avengers films released, namely The Avengers, Avengers: Age of Ultron, Avengers: Infinity War, and Avengers: Endgame.
These four films form part of the Infinity Saga, with Avengers: Endgame ending it. After the Infinity Saga ended, now we move to a new story, namely the Multiverse Saga. In the Multiverse Saga, we will also be presented with the new Avengers films, namely Avengers: The Kang Dynasty and Avengers: Secret Wars.
For Avengers: Secret Wars, this film is predicted to be the closing film of the Multiverse Saga. And interestingly, there is the latest news about the film. Recently, Fandomwire reported that the Avengers: Secret Wars film will likely be divided into two parts, much like the Mission Impossible – Dead Reckoning films which were divided into Part One and Part Two.
Since Avengers: Secret Wars will unite many superheroes at one time, it’s likely that one film will not be enough to accommodate them. Especially as the closing film of the Multiverse Saga, the film will be huge. Even Marvel Studios has confirmed that Avengers: Secret Wars is much bigger than Avengers: Endgame.
And because the film is so large in scale, it only made sense that it would be split into two parts. This was further strengthened by Marvel Studios delaying the release of the film for a year, which made fans even more certain that Avengers: Secret Wars would be divided into two parts.
In the comics, Avengers: Secret Wars presents many Marvel heroes and villains. The heroes involved in the events of Secret Wars include Spider-Man, War Machine, X-Men, Fantastic Four, Hulk, Avengers, and many others. Meanwhile in the villain camp, those involved include Galactus, Wrecking Crew, Kang the Conqueror, Doctor Octopus, Doctor Doom, Ultron and many others. Let’s just wait, geeks, for further information that will be shared by Marvel Studios later.
