“This film is a continuation of the popular 2014 film. However, it’s actually very different.
The time setting is in a different era and the characters are new. But this film is still as funny and interesting as the previous film,” said Kang Ha-neul, actor of “The Pirates: Goblin Flag” as quoted dailyrelaxshows.com from The Korea Times on January 22, 2022.
This film tells the story of a group of pirates and bandits who go on a journey to find the lost treasure of the Goryeo Kingdom.

This film also stars Lee Kwang-soo, Chae Soo-bin, and Sehun EXO who plays a pirate crew in the film “The Pirates: Goblin Flag”.
The main genre of film is action films featuring adventure. In addition to action, this film is also inserted with comedy which causes the story to be lighter.
“There’s definitely pressure to direct a sequel because the film gets a lot of appreciation for showing at the box office.
However, I tried to create a story and maintain the comedy element,” said Kim Jeong-hoon, the film’s director.
Furthermore, Kim stated that he was satisfied with the actors’ acting. He felt that the actors had played the role in totality.
Kim revealed that he felt lucky to be able to work with all the actors who could make this film even better.
