The Japanese premiere of Jujutsu Kaisen 0 The Movie has broken out. A total of 15 thousand people watched the anime film produced by MAPPA at midnight Thursday, December 24, 2021.
Reporting from the Anime News Network page, initially Jujutsu Kaisen 0 only aired on 28 screens in 14 theaters. However, due to high enthusiasm where tickets sold out in a matter of minutes, the cinema added to 58 screens.
At its premiere Friday, viewers will receive the booklet “Jujutsu Kaisen #0.5 Tokyo Prefectural Jujutsu Middle School”, while supplies last. In total the theaters distributed five million booklets.
Jujutsu Kaisen 0 The Movie is a prequel to the manga Jujutsu Kaisen 0: Tokyo Prefectural Jujutsu High School. Meanwhile, the anime series version of the manga by Gege Akutami has aired 24 episodes.
Synopsis Jujutsu Kaisen 0
This anime film tells of Yuta Okkotsu who has a childhood friend named Rika Orimoto who turns into a curse. Rika is no ordinary Curse, her suffering is noticed by Satoru Gojo, a teacher at Jujutsu High, a school where exorcists learn how to fight Curses.
Gojo convinces Yuta to enlist, but can he learn in time enough to face the Curse that haunts him?
The voice actor or voice actor Yuta Okkotsu is filled with Megumi Ogata. Meanwhile, Rika Orimoto’s voice actor is Kan Hanazawa.

Toge Inumaki
