The storyline revolves around the dark life of a Japanese noble family in Korea. Sook Hee (Kim Tae Ri) looks like an ordinary maid, but is gradually drawn into the scheme of power competition between Lady Hideko (Kim Min Hee) and her uncle Kouzuki (Cho Jin Woong).

Known for his roles in the hit television series, few people know that Confidential Assignment is the first action film of actor Hyun Bin. Yoon Dong Ju was a great Korean poet when he devoted his life to art but was imprisoned by the Japanese because he was associated with the anti-Japanese movement in Korea at that time. The film is said to have cost up to Rp. 35 billion to produce.

The last Korean film that surprised audiences when it only cost Rp. 2.6 billion to make a hit was Re Encounter. The budget is limited, the scenes, costumes are minimal, but that still doesn’t prevent this film from becoming one of the top masterpieces in the film industry.

This film tells the sad and tearful love story between Hye Hwa (Da In) and Han Soo (Yoo Yeon Seok). The two fell in love but lost touch when the woman became pregnant and the man left her to go to Canada. They meet again after five years in search of their son, who is believed to have been adopted.
